As new business owners taking over a previously owned shop with limited time to renovate before reopening date I didn’t know who to look for to get it done. Nancy and I was fortunate enough to remember a friend had referred me to Imperial Design.
Nancy and I was a little hesitant at first because when we met with other builders they’ve always gave us outrageous pricing because of our deadline, I guess it was a plus for them cause they knew I needed to get it done. So with that in mind Nancy and I wasn’t sure what to expect when we met with Viet which to my surprise seemed to look fairly young, but let it be a lesson, ‘cause as cheesy as it may be but “Never judge a book by its cover” comes to mind.
His pricing almost surprised me as much as his age but although he did appear young it definitely didn’t reflect in his knowledge of his field. Nancy and I was quite impressed by his professionalism, his efficiency and punctuality. Even under pressure and he was able to deliver and keep his composure , even though we were on a time crunch it didn’t seem to faze him nor his team so it was quite comforting, they never gave me a bit of doubt of whether or not they would follow through.
We have nothing but kind words to say about his team and him. There was no price gauging, no sugar coating We say this because with any renovation or repair sometimes there are glitches or things come up but they don’t hide it or cover it up instead they inform me and come up with a suitable solution which we definitely appreciated. So expect no nonsense from this hard working team they mean business. We would without a doubt, call upon their services for any future renovation to be done. Thank you Imperial Designs for your hard work.

If you need construction/renovations done to your house, we suggest you check out Imperial Design Construction Inc. We employed Viet to renovate our first floor this summer. From the start, Viet was professional and communicative. He used CAD drawings at quotes and offered design suggestions. He also listened to our ideas and concerns and addressed them effectively. As a result, we went with many of his design suggestions and even added second floor renovations to the project.
Viet and his team were also hard-working. They were respectful and cleaned up after each shift. For example, when we were away for a weekend and our neighbours had guests over for a wedding, Viet’s team moved work from the driveway to the backyard so our neighbours could enjoy their weekend.
In addition, Viet was a dedicated and efficient Project Manager and outsourced our doors, granite, kitchen cabinets, etc. so we didn’t have to do the legwork. For instance, when our door insert was ordered wrong, Viet dealt with the company and corrected their mistake before it was installed.
Viet’s work speaks for itself. We are very proud of our house after the renovations and love showing it off to our family, friends, and neighbours.
We highly recommend Imperial Design Construction if you need minor or major work done to your house/office/building. We will definitely employ Viet and his team in the future.

Viet, was extremely neat, and his work ethic was Awesome!!!. Gave him a house key. His team went above, and beyond with the porcelain floor install. All timelines were met, and work was done ahead of schedule… His team put in 12 hr days with an Amazing end-product. Would use his Company again with zero hesitation. I just wanted to thank you profusely for the wonderful work on my tile floor that you completed in December for me in my home. The craftsmanship is excellent. I am so please with the work on my floor kitchen, hallway and powder room. You were able to install the tiles on the diagonal and I think it really adds to the look. Also, I had to press you to work more quickly only because Christmas was approaching. I was out of my kitchen for less than you said I would be. This was great!
